The future is what will happen in the time after the present.

Psychology Edit

According to studies, the human brain is bad at thinking about the future due to this particular behavior prohibiting people from thinking about themselves and therefore prevents them from acting on benefitting their own future both as individuals and a society. Furthermore, the more the human brain treats its' future self like a stranger, the less self-control the individual will presently exhibit, and the less likely you are to make pro-social choices, choices that will likely be helpful in the long run.[1]
